Devizes to Westminster 2024 winners Tom Sharpe and Anoushka Freeman finally went head to head against their biggest competition in the mixed category (and maybe overall): Joe Petersen and Brynde Kreft. Last weekend, Brynde and Joe each proved faster in K1s against Anoushka and Tom at Thameside 1… But would their K2 have the same speed advantage? Sunny weather brought roughly 300 paddlers from around the UK to race 17.5 miles down the Kennet & Avon canal and back upstream to Newbury. Times were fast and records (amongst other things) were broken.
